REGULATORY COMPLIANCE State Federal/MMS The EBOT is a precision electronic quartz and temperature- compensated-gauge designed to obtain surface wellhead pressure data and convert it to bottom-hole-pressure utilizing the Cullender & Smith Method. This data satisfies the MMS requirements for bottom hole pressure necessary for compliance with 30 CFR Sec. 250.1104.
Surface wellhead conversion requires prior approval from the MMS to comply with 30 CFR Sec. 250.1104.
PRESSURE TRANSIENT TESTING EBOT Pressure Transient Testing - The 99.9% accuracy of the quartz gauge, coupled with fast processor speeds, provide the most accurate pressure data available. RDS utilizes a proprietary modified Cullender & Smith conversion formula to determine bottom hole pressures. Utilize this non-intrusive capture of surface data for detailed reservoir diagnosis. The EBOT gives tremendous diagnostic accuracy without wellhead intervention, and risks at less than 1/3 the cost. Proven in numerous tests, the pressure responses mirror actual readings taken with down hole BHP gauges. Utilize our ABOT acoustic fluid level system for lower pressure artificial lift reservoirs, to detect fluid levels in the tubing or casing to allow surface acquisition of a wide range of reservoir conditions.
LOW PERM
PRE FRAC
FRAC &
POST FRAC SURVEILANCE
Install a EBOT to record initial perforating pressure response and build up data to assist in frac modeling and economic determination of zone completion. The EBOT is available in 10M 15M 20M & 25M pressure rating. The EBOT is capable of data acquisition during the frac, and post frac surveillance to obtain valuable data for fracture effectiveness. Our unique satellite communication system allows for real-time, precision pressure data temperature-compensated independent of the flow back or well test crew.
Field & Platform PIPELINE
SHUT-IN
Scheduled and unscheduled shut in of Fields & Platforms afford a unique opportunity for pressure transient testing and bottom hole pressure data gathering. For cost effectiveness - utilize the EBOT surface electronic recorder on a large number of wells simultaneously to identify problem & underperforming wells. Obtaining skin and perm information that allow smart decision making for selecting restim candidates or mechanical optimization to reconfigure or repair your wellbore.
DEEP WATER WORKOVERS & COMPLETION Deep water completions offer unique problems as reservoirs are being depleted, lowering BHP below normal pressure gradients. Resulting in the inability of the formation to support a full column of water. Normal solutions are to attempt to keep the wellbore full resulting in large loss of fluids to the reservoir followed by spotting complex LCM/block pills to seal off the reservoir. This method normally requires coil tubing acid treatments to remove. This carries high potential for causing reservoir damage which can not be corrected. The risk associated with blind completion operations on high rate deepwater wells is obvious.
Reservoir Data Systems ABOT fluid level system has been successfully used on Deep water completions. Continuous monitoring the fluid level in the wellbore ensuring sufficient hydrostatic pressure is maintained, allowing the operator to save rig time, avoiding potential formation damage and the associated expense.
